Carson Rubber Stamp Show!

I had a AMAZING time at the Carson Rubber Stamp show, this last Saturday!
It was my first time and even though the venue was small, I still found exactly what I needed! ;)
This booth is Invoke Arts. Very, very altered, just my style!

I found the perfect Day of the Dead stamps, some mermaids...

and a collection of inspirational ARTISTIC quotes!

Even though the shows home pages did not list Tim Holtz as a demonstrator, I knew he'd be there by way of his blog. Here is some of his work.

I really liked these altered bird houses.

This is what I bought. The grey thing is a light weight scrubber to remove inks from hands after stamping.

I arrived with my good friend Jaime. She is in my craft group and supports my passion for miniature Faerie Gardens too.

While there, I also met up with my friend Susan Blakely, she is in my craft group and has helped renew my passion for stamping by introducing me into a couple of other craft/ stamp groups. :)

Check out these great card inspirations!

When I was perusing the Lost Coast Designs booth, I ran into good friend and lead Fiskateer, Tami Bayer! She came all the way from Lake Arrowhead to spread some Fiska-Love! :)

I really love these Lost Coast stamps! So edgy and altered!

Here is what I purchased...Virgin of Guadalupe, Articulated Skeleton, Gibson girls faces, Measuring tape and music sheet border, & Mermaid with shell.

My friend Jaime and I saw a neat demo using this jumbo flowers from Stampendous.

Just look at the inspirational samples made with these beautiful flowers!

Here are some more items I purchased throughout the day...the stamps sets were a mere $1!

I also ran to my good friend Sherry Goodloe! She teaches amazing classes at Whimzy, in Old Town Tustin- check out her blog for more details!

So that's all for now...If you noticed I was holding a binder in the photo with Tami Bayer, the contents of the notebook will be revealed in tomorrows post! ;)
See you then!
